Who we are

LocalShortlist ("we," "us") is a community shortlist of local businesses in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Palo Alto, and nearby areas, operated by Lil City Media. Contact: hello@lilcitymedia.com.

Information we collect

Business listing information — business name, category, address, phone number, website, hours, and offers. This comes from publicly available sources (e.g., the business's own website or public map listings) or directly from the business when it submits or claims a listing.
Contact submissions — name, email, phone number, and message content when you contact us, claim a listing, or ask to be featured.
Basic site analytics — aggregate, non-identifying usage data.

How we use information

To create, verify, and display business listings on LocalShortlist.
To feature businesses and their offers on our site, newsletter, and social channels.
To communicate with businesses about their listing and, where they've expressed interest, about Lil City Media advertising and marketing services.

Text messaging (SMS)

We may send text messages to businesses about their LocalShortlist listing — for example, to verify listing information, confirm a featured offer, or follow up on a claim request. Consent is obtained when a business provides its number to us, claims its listing, or replies to us; message frequency varies and is low. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@lilcitymedia.com. Opt-out requests are honored immediately and permanently.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Business listing details (name, address, phone, website, offers) are published on LocalShortlist because that is the point of a listing. We use service providers (e.g., hosting, messaging delivery) only to operate the service.

Your choices

Businesses may update or remove their listing at any time by contacting us.
Text STOP to end SMS contact; unsubscribe links are included in our emails.
You may request a copy or deletion of information we hold about you at hello@lilcitymedia.com.
